- Any member of the United States Armed Forces who is stationed in Florida (includes spouse and dependent children residing in the household).
New - Effective July 1, 2013
Beginning July 1, 2013, there is no longer a 6-month requirement in order to obtain resident licenses in Florida.
Acceptable Proofs of Florida Residency:
Primary proof:
- Florida Driver License or ID Card (with Florida residency verified by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles)

Alternate proof (may be used only by Florida residents who do not have a Florida Driver License or ID Card):
- Current Florida Voter Information Card
- Declaration of Domicile (may be obtained from county clerk's office)
